Lilleshall Hall Parkland Plan

The Sports Council Trust Company occupies around 134 hectares of land at the centre of the Lilleshall Hall Registered Park and Garden. Lilleshall Hall was built and developed by the wealthy Sutherland family from the 1830's up to the sale in 1917. It has largely intact pleasure grounds with an impressive collection of conifers and parkland trees, within the wider setting of the post World War 2 sporting and recreation facilities.

The Flagship National Sports Centre is operated by Serco Leisure on behalf of Sport England and it is nationally renowned as a residential training facility and award winning centre of excellence for many of the UK's top sports men and women.

The 2013 report researched the historical development of the landscape, and analysed the key elements which contribute to its unique character. It was compiled with the full cooperation and enthusiastic contribution of the Sport England and Serco management team.
